Virginia Beach has a whopping TWO (Yes. 2. Whole. Dog Parks.) off leash dog parks but…
Virginia Beach also has First Landing State Park. WOOF!

Norfolk and Virginia Beach both forbid dogs on public beaches from the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day during the hours of 10am to 6pm. No one can figure out how to explain this to the dogs.. but come on down to the beach at 6pm and you’ll see all the pet owners and dogs living it up!

There are 4 Petsmart stores in Virginia Beach and 1 in Norfolk.
There are 2 Petco stores in Virginia Beach and 1 in Norfolk.

Please be extra watchful during the summer months, as both cats and dogs can overheat quickly. Our pet sitters are Red Cross trained to prevent heat related illness and injury, and we recommend you follow our own guidelines when your dog is outside!
